Q: If I'm having a fashion session, what should I wear?
A: Its more a matter of coordination, than what's fashionable. Bring a variety of outfits that are, pressed and fitted well. Pay particularly close attention to your choice of shoes. Make certain that they go well with your choice of out fit, and should be in good shape. As for the outfits, wear whatever you feel comfortable in wearing. Have contrasting outfits, bring both light and dark outfits for starters. Bring extras like jewelry, and other adorning items such as hats, scarf's etc; these props contribute greatly to your session, think out of the box..
Q: Do I need a makeup artist?
A: I personally believe that if you can apply basic makeup, you'll be fine. Eye shadow and lashes will help. If your skin is relatively unblemished, you should not need one. However some insist on having a makeup artist. We can supply a makeup artist at an affordable additional cost.
Q: Can I bring someone with me to my session?
A: Sure as long as they don't mind waiting patiently. Children are not allowed unless they are paying customers.
What other things may be helpful for me to know?
1. Bring a snack and something to drink, sessions are energy draining. The studio is equipped with a microwave and fridge.
2. Get plenty of rest before the session, your tiredness will show if you haven't had sufficient rest.
3. Do some research, look through some magazines for posing ideas, and bring a few images from magazines that you liked. It's a good place to start. Practice a few poses in front a mirror, it helps a lot.
4. Bring a few of your favorite music CD's, it sets the tone for your session.
5. If you have any other questions, don't hesitiate to ask. Prefably by e-mail at sutikare@verizon.net
6. All sessions are by appointment only.
Q: What about payment?
A: Payment is expected after the session has ended. Checks and cash only, no facilities for credit cards.
Q: If I've never posed before, will it present a problem?
A: Not at all, it may take a while to become accustomed to the lighting, you'll soon become comfortable and the nervousness will quickly disappear.
Q: When will the CD-ROM of the session be ready?
A: If all goes well, you can have your CD_ ROM directly at the end of the session, it usually takes an hour to prepare and burn it. If time isn't permitting, it will either be mailed to you, or you can always return to the studio for a pick up..
Q: Do you place any restrictions on the images after I get the CD-ROM?
A: No, once the CD_ ROM is in your possession, I have no restrictions. I sometimes may ask permission to use some of the session's images for my own personal promotion. I graciously accept photo credits.
Q: Do you do TFP's
A: Yes, but on a very limited basis. You'd have to consult with me before a TFP is done.
